2017 Nissan Titan: redefining the pickup

2017 Nissan Titan: redefining the pickup

It is not easy for a carmaker to play in the full-size pickup segment if it is not an American manufacturer. Indeed, Nissan knows very well that its 2017 Nissan Titan is facing a fierce competition, but the engineers of the brand have adopted a simple approach to counter this. The automaker simply offers a truck that is capable of meeting a wide range of needs, whether on a construction site or on the highway.

Powerful engines propel the 2017 Nissan Titan

The 2017 Nissan Titan is powered out of the gate by a 5.6-liter V8 engine developing 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque. The torque is delivered at 3,400 rpm and, coupled with a seven-speed automatic transmission, the new Titan's V8 engine is capable of towing up to 9,730 pounds. Offered starting at $44,650, the 2017 Titan is offered with everything it needs to tow its maximum load unlike rivals who require additional options to take advantage of the capabilities of their engines. Payload is set at 1,930 pounds.

If you need more, there is the Nissan Titan XD. The latter is actually an in-between between a 1500 truck and a 2500 truck. It is priced from $46,250 before taxes and preparation fees, and can tow an impressive load of 12,314 pound when equipped with the rugged 5.0-liter turbodiesel V8 developing 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque. The Titan XD’s base engine is the same 5.6-liter V8 engine that we find elsewhere in the Titan range.

With the Titan XD, owners enjoy a powerful truck with a muscular design that shines in the towing department, but that is also comfortable and refined.

The 2017 Nissan Titan is perfect for everyday use

There is no doubt that the 2017 Nissan Titan will not shy away from heavy work. It is a truck that, with its powerful engines, will never leave its owner stranded. On the other hand, it is also useful on a daily basis and, above all, perfect for those who use their truck for all of their daily activities.

Indeed, the 2017 Nissan Titan’s cabin is built with high-quality materials and several connectivity and comfort technologies such as a heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, multi-zone air conditioning and much more. As originally stated, the new 2017 Titan will be able to meet all your needs.
