Along with a stunning exterior, the 2015 Nissan Murano also features plenty of well-designed interior amenities and features, as well.
Despite the teeny-tiny Nissan Micra stealing the show lately, there’s an equally appealing player that’s inching its way into the limelight and it goes by the name, Murano. Nissan’s latest revamp of the tried-and-tested SUV has been for the better, and it’s actually not just about the look.
The 2015 Nissan Murano is Ready to Shine
For 2015, the new 2015 Nissan Murano features the same engine found in the outgoing model: a 3.5L V6 that produces 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. That engine is coupled with a CVT, which means that the Nissan Murano is a blast to drive as well as being fue- efficient. Fuel rating numbers for the 2015 Murano hover in the 8.8L/100km range (according to Nissan). There is more than enough power to get this attractive SUV moving, and blissfully the CVT behaves very much like a typical automatic transmission, so no obnoxious droning under hard acceleration.
Nissan offers four different 2015 Murano models for you to choose from: S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Across the board, the engine and transmission set-up remains the same, however, aesthetically and in terms of interior features and amenities there are slight differences between each.
A Trim for Everyone's Preferences
At the very top of the lineup sits the 2015 Nissan Murano Platinum that commands not only top dollar, but also top respect from other drivers on the road. The Murano Platinum is equipped with 20” aluminum-alloy wheels, a full leather interior, and can be dressed up in catching colours like Pacific Sunset - a gorgeous burnt orange hue. Truly, the 2015 Nissan Murano is eye-catching in all the right ways.
The 2015 Nissan Murano sports Nissan’s brand new design language, which they refer to as “V-Motion.” Fluid and modern, the Murano is sophisticated and sporty all at once with a strong presence on the road that’s loaded to the taillights with sex appeal. Speaking of those taillights, the 2015 Murano features Nissan’s signature lobster-claw lights in the front and back, as well as the brand-new floating roofline (also featured on the all-new Altima and Maxima). You’re unlikely to find an SUV as attractive on the market at the moment.
Along with a stunning exterior, the 2015 Nissan Murano also features plenty of well-designed interior amenities and features, as well. With chrome and brushed silver accents throughout, as well as ambient lighting that’ll keep the right mood at all times, your experience in the cabin of the 2015 Nissan Murano is sure to be a luxurious and comfortable one.
Opting for a Murano SL trim or higher and you’ll be treated to full-leather everything. In the front seats, occupants can easily manipulate the onboard entertainment system via an 8” touchscreen. In the rear, passengers can control their own climate (and there are even available heated seats), as well as charge all their devices with USB ports in the middle console.
The 2015 Nissan Murano is a gorgeous SUV that’s perfect for modern, on-the-go families. Head down to your local Nissan dealer today to speak to one of their experts, and don’t forget to book a test drive, too.
